Why the Moho?

The Moho is a colloquial term for the Mohorovičić discontinuity. As geoscientists, interested in plate tectonics and large scale features, it is often our goal to image the subsurface. The resolution of our Earth models are often best above the Moho, but rather decreases beneath this discontinuity.

My goal for this blog is to share my general interests, outside of geology and geophysics.
